About Moth Club
Moth Club is a music venue in Hackney that began hosting nights in August 2015. Its building began life as a pub called the General Browning, and later served as the local base for the Memorable Order of Tin Hats, a service veterans' association that gives the venue its name. The room carries that past in its title, which makes it a place with a clear sense of its own history.
The programme leans towards rock, indie and alternative, with pop also on the bill. Eleven shows are listed ahead, two of them within the next 30 days, and the soonest headliners include Compost Compost Compost, KEG and Sarah Julia, followed by Pearl & The Oysters, David J, City of the Sun, Fujiya & Miyagi and The Buoys. Shows usually start around 19:00.
