About Operaen, Holmen
Operaen is Denmark's national opera house, and one of the most contemporary of its kind anywhere in the world. It ranks among the costliest opera houses ever constructed, with a price tag of 2.5 billion DKK. Located on Holmen, an island in central Copenhagen, it is a striking place to catch opera in the Danish capital.
