About Oran Mor
Òran Mór is a multi-purpose space in Glasgow that brings a theatre, restaurant and live music venue together under one roof. The building began life in 1862 as Kelvinside Parish Church and remained so until 1978, when it was no longer needed. After being deconsecrated, it reopened in 2004 as an entertainment venue, so a former place of worship now hosts gigs, plays and meals instead.
Current listings show 48 upcoming shows, with 17 in the next thirty days, and the programme leans towards rock, pop, and indie and alternative music. Soonest headliners include Ferocious Dog, Jamie McIntyre, LSD and the Search for God, Benjamin Steer and Matt Carmichael. Shows usually start around 19:00, and the venue has hosted one festival date.
