About Palace Theatre, Paignton, Torbay, Devon

The Palace Theatre in Paignton dates from 1890 and is the oldest working theatre in Torbay. Torbay Council, or the bodies that preceded it, has owned the building since 1920, and a major refurbishment in 2005 updated it. It seats 380, and since 2018 it has been run by Jazz Hands CIC, a community interest company founded by Maureen McAllister and Deirdre Makepeace.

One upcoming show is listed, though none falls within the next 30 days, so it is worth checking dates before planning a visit. Tickets are from £20. The styles on offer, start times and age guidance are not given here, so it is best to confirm these with the theatre before booking.
