About Platform
Platform in Morecambe is known to us only through its programme, which lists 22 upcoming shows, six of them in the next 30 days. With no background on its history, size or building, the clearest picture comes from what it books: mainly rock and pop, with a calendar that leans towards bands and tributes rather than a single niche. It reads as a place for a broad night out rather than a specialist one.
Expect a varied bill, from This Is Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute, and Legends of Motown to Ozric Tentacles, The Rezillos, Blackmore's Blood, Hannah Wants, Dom Martin and Lindisfarne among the upcoming headliners. Shows usually start around 19:00, and tickets have been seen from £23. No age policy is given, so check before booking.
