About Portland House Bank And The Vaults

Portland House Bank And The Vaults occupies a 1927 building on Bute Street in Butetown, Cardiff. It opened as a bank for the National Provincial, designed in-house by the bank's own architects, and Cadw rates it among the finest buildings of its kind in Wales. The building holds a Grade II* listing. After a period close to dereliction, it was converted into an events space in the early 2000s.
