About Regent Theatre
The Regent Theatre was built in 1929 as a cinema and sits among several playhouses in Stoke-on-Trent's city centre. It was converted for full-time theatre use in 1999 and has since staged a range of shows and musicals. Glyndebourne Touring Opera uses the building as its northern base, and the venue is run by the Ambassador Theatre Group on behalf of the city council, which also operates one other venue in the city.
Shows and musicals have featured since the theatre went over to full-time use, and the listings currently feature a single headliner: the Australian Pink Floyd Show. No dates fall in the next 30 days, so anyone hoping to catch a show soon should check the calendar for later listings before buying a ticket.
