About Roundhouse
The Roundhouse sits in Chalk Farm, north London, in a Grade II* listed former railway engine shed. The London & North Western Railway built it in 1846–47 around a turntable, and it served trains for only about ten years. It later became a warehouse and stood empty shortly before the Second World War. It gained listed status in 1954, and today it operates as a concert and performing arts space.
