About SALLE PLEYEL
Salle Pleyel sits in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, a concert hall whose design was shaped as much by sound as by stone. The acoustician Gustave Lyon led the work alongside the architect Jacques Marcel Auburtin, and it was finished in 1927 by their collaborators André Granet and Jean-Baptiste Mathon. For much of its life it was chiefly a home for classical orchestral concerts, with the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in residence until 2015.
The programme has since widened to take in contemporary and popular music alongside its orchestral heritage. No upcoming shows are currently listed for the venue, so there are no named acts, start times, prices or age policy to report at present. Check back for new dates before planning a visit.
