About Shrewsbury Unitarian Church
Standing on Shrewsbury's High Street, this Grade II listed building has held a congregation on the same ground since 1662, when two dissenting ministers, Francis Tallents and John Bryan, were forced out of their churches. A Jacobite mob wrecked the building in 1715, but it was rebuilt that same year. That survival gives the church a history that reaches well beyond its walls.
The venue's programme is currently light. One show is listed further ahead, with none scheduled in the next 30 days, so there is little to judge the kind of events booked here from at present. Start times, ticket prices and age policy are not yet listed, so check the event details before buying.
