About The Citadel Arts Centre
Set in the middle of St Helens, Merseyside, The Citadel occupies a Victorian building on the corner of Waterloo Street and Milk Street. It opened in 1988 as a music venue and theatre, and after a major refurbishment in 2000 it kept up a broad mix of music, drama and arts workshops. The room closed in June 2019 and later returned under fresh management following a restructure.
