Venue
The Glasshouse stands on the Gateshead side of the Quayside in north-east England, and it is both a concert venue and a centre for musical education. It opened in 2004 as Sage Gateshead, a name many locals still use, in tribute to its early patron, the accountancy software firm The Sage Group. Today the building is occupied by the North Music Trust.
Upcoming programming leans towards rock, pop, and indie and alternative music, with 26 upcoming shows, eight of them in the next 30 days. Soonest headliners include Hue and Cry, The Amy Winehouse Band, Jack Savoretti, The Shires and Gipsy Kings by André Reyes, with later dates for Morcheeba, Bellowhead and Ben Folds. Shows usually start around 19:00.
Coming up: The Amy Winehouse Band · Jack Savoretti · The Shires · Gipsy Kings by André Reyes · Morcheeba · Bellowhead
