About The Helix
The Helix sits on the Dublin City University campus in Glasnevin and operates as a multi-purpose arts complex. It was formally opened by President Mary McAleese in October 2002 and houses a concert hall, a theatre, a studio theatre and an exhibition space under one roof, with studios for visiting artists and a café on site. Its campus setting gives it a distinct character among the city's performance venues.
