About The Old Library

The Old Library sits on Queen's Square in Aberystwyth, in a municipal building that once housed the headquarters of Aberystwyth Borough Council. Since 2012 it has worked as the town's public library, and a day centre for pensioners also operates within it. The building carries its civic past alongside its present role as a community space, the two sitting side by side under one roof.
