About The Warehouse Arts Centre, Southport

The Warehouse Arts Centre stands on the east side of Lord Street in Southport, set between the Town Hall and the Atkinson Art Gallery and Library. Built between 1873 and 1874 around an assembly hall, the building was later converted into a theatre during the 20th century. Its mixed architectural styles include a tall clock tower at one end, and it is a Grade II listed building that forms part of The Atkinson arts complex.
