About Thekla
Thekla is moored in the Mud Dock area of Bristol's Floating Harbour, and the venue itself is a former cargo ship. Built in Germany in 1958, the vessel worked in the coastal trades before it became a gig venue, and that seafaring past gives the place a character of its own.
The upcoming programme leans towards rock, indie and alternative, with pop also booked. Headliners coming up include Nectar Woode, Jake Vaadeland, BLACKGOLD, MOULD, Chloe Slater, Messa, MNEK and The Wran, with 35 shows listed in total and 10 of them in the next 30 days. Shows usually start around 18:30, tickets have been seen from £25, and the most common age policy is 18+.
