About Town Hall Theatre
The Town Hall Theatre in Galway was first commissioned as a courthouse, so its story begins with law rather than the stage. It later served as a meeting place and as the offices of Galway Corporation, and that civic history still shapes the building as much as performance does. The blend of legal, civic and theatrical use gives the venue a character quite unlike a purpose-built playhouse.
The programme is small for now, with two shows listed, both due within the next 30 days. Jamie Duffy and Andy Irvine are the headliners, with Duffy appearing soonest. Start times, prices and age policy are not yet listed, so check the details before booking.
