About Tyne Theatre
The Tyne Theatre opened in 1867 as the Tyne Theatre and Opera House, designed by the Newcastle architecture practice of William Parnell. Its Grade I listing places it among the top four per cent of listed buildings in England, and the Theatres Trust awards it three stars for quality. A fire in 1985 damaged the backstage area, but the rebuilding that followed brought back the Victorian stage machinery.
The next show on the programme is headlined by Justin Hayward, and it is the only date scheduled in the coming thirty days. Start times, prices and age policy are not shown here, so check the ticket details before you buy.
