About Union Chapel
Union Chapel is a working Congregational church at the northern end of Upper Street in Islington, close to Highbury Fields. Its Gothic Revival building dates from the late nineteenth century and carries a Grade I listing. Alongside its congregation, the church hosts live music and runs a charity drop-in centre for people experiencing homelessness, so concerts take place in a building with an active community life.
The venue books mainly rock and pop, with 30 shows currently listed, eight of them in the next 30 days. Soonest headliners include Hayseed Dixie, Duke Special, Ezra Furman and Perfume Genius. Shows usually start around 19:00, and the most common age policy is 16+. The venue has also hosted one festival date.
Coming up: Duke Special · Ezra Furman · Perfume Genius · Tom Rush · Willow Avalon · Nu Civilisation Orchestra
