About Victoria Theatre
The Victoria Theatre in Halifax, West Yorkshire, is a large venue that works as both a theatre and a concert hall. It opened in 1901, and its age gives it a settled place in the town's cultural life. For a gig-goer, it is a building with real presence and one worth knowing about when planning a night out in Halifax.
The programme leans towards pop and rock, with nine shows currently scheduled and one falling in the next thirty days. Upcoming headliners include The Amy Winehouse Band, Michael Starring Ben, Wet Wet Wet, Tony Blackburn, 10cc, The Bootleg Beatles, Fisherman's Friends and Classically Kate Bush. Shows usually start around 19:30, so an early evening is the norm.
