About Whelans
Whelans is a music venue in Dublin. There is little background to draw on beyond its city and name, so this section can only describe what its programme shows: a place where live music is the main event, with a calendar that stays busy.
Expect a steady run of gigs, with 28 shows scheduled over the next 30 days. Rock, indie and alternative, and pop are the main styles on the bill. Soonest headliners include Cry Before Dawn, Talia Rae, Ezhel, Adult Leisure and Overpass, with Fya Fox, Girl In The Year Above and Therapy Horse also coming up. Most shows usually start around 8pm, so an early evening arrival suits the schedule.
