Smith & Myers

Stepping outside Shinedown, Brent Smith on vocals and Zach Myers on guitar run Smith & Myers, an acoustic side project from the United States formed in 2014. With the full band arrangement set aside, the pair's focus rests on voice and guitar, and the project's catalogue carries that acoustic identity from its first release onward.

The project's story starts with the Acoustic Sessions name, which appears on two EPs released in 2014: Acoustic Sessions, Part 2, and a second EP titled (Acoustic Sessions). Six years later, 2020 brought three albums in total, Volume 1, Volume 2 and Volume 1 & 2, making 2020 the busiest year in its listed releases. The pair, Myers and Smith, are both listed as members from 2014 to the present, so the partnership has run unbroken since the first EP, with no line-up changes recorded.
