Foo Fighters began their Australian stadium tour at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Thursday 5 November 2026, playing a 26-song set that mixed the band's best-known songs with an acoustic B-stage segment and a dedication to the late Taylor Hawkins. The tour supports the band's latest album.

The local openers were Mini Skirt and Full Flower Moon Band. Foo Fighters then went straight into All My Life, The Pretender and Times Like These. Dave Grohl reportedly fell while running up the stage runway early on, and carried on regardless.

The main set

Rope, Stacked Actors, My Hero, Learn To Fly, These Days, Walk and This Is A Call followed in the opening stretch. During No Son Of Mine the band slipped in a snippet of Motörhead's Ace Of Spades.

A secondary stage hosted the acoustic section: Wheels, Marigold, Window, Big Me and Under You. Marigold was originally recorded by Late!, Grohl's earlier project, and reviewer Chloe Logan singled it out as a treat for longer-term fans.

Back on the main stage, the band played the album's title track and Run, then ran through band introductions built from snippets of Invincible, Seven, One Headlight, Manimal and Tap Dancing In A Minefield. Grohl sat behind the drum kit for that segment while current drummer Ilan Rubin picked up guitar. Monkey Wrench and Breakout came next.

Aurora and the encore

Aurora was dedicated to Hawkins. Logan described it as one of the evening's most poignant moments. Best Of You closed the main set with a crowd singalong.

The three-song encore opened with Baker Street, Gerry Rafferty's song, played for the first time on this tour. Hey, Johnny Park! followed, and Everlong closed the night. Exhausted was on the written setlist, according to setlist.fm, but was dropped before the show finished.

Logan also noted that a humid Brisbane evening was eased by hydration stations and misting fans, and gave her verdict on the night:

"After more than 30 years, the Foo Fighters still know how to put on one hell of a show."

Remaining dates

The tour continues at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on 7 November, Accor Stadium in Sydney on 10 November, Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on 14 November and Coopers Stadium in Adelaide on 17 November. A Newcastle show is set for 12 November. The band plays HBF Park in Perth on 25 January 2027, with further New Zealand dates also scheduled for January. Setlists can change from night to night.
