Marilyn Manson announces Australian headline shows for February, first in 12 years
Marilyn Manson will play Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, his first Australian tour in more than a decade, Rolling Stone Australia reports.

Marilyn Manson has announced a run of headline shows in Australia for February, his first tour of the country in 12 years. Rolling Stone Australia reports that the musician announced the dates on Wednesday, with confirmed shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.
The four-city itinerary covers the east coast capitals plus Adelaide, and it ends a gap of more than a decade since Manson last toured Australia.
A civil case in the background
Rolling Stone Australia notes that the announcement comes two months after a Los Angeles County judge granted a trial date in a civil case brought by Walters, a former assistant to Manson. She alleges that he sexually assaulted her at his West Hollywood home studio in 2010 and later subjected her to physical and emotional abuse while she worked for him. Manson, whom the outlet also refers to as Warner, has denied wrongdoing.
According to the report, the case has had a long procedural history. A different judge dismissed it as untimely in May 2022, and an appellate panel later revived it, allowing Walters to try to show that trauma-induced memory suppression delayed her filing. Judge Cochran dismissed the case again in December 2025 after finding she had not made that showing.
Cochran reversed that ruling in January after Walters invoked a new California law, AB 250, which opened a two-year window for certain previously time-barred sexual assault claims. In June, the judge rejected the defence's latest attempt to dismiss or narrow Walters' third amended complaint.
Earlier allegations
Walters first spoke publicly in February 2021, when several women, including the actor Evan Rachel Wood, accused Manson of physical and emotional abuse. Rolling Stone published an investigation later that year, drawing on conversations with more than 55 sources.
Rolling Stone Australia reports that Manson, 57, reached out-of-court settlements with two accusers, among them the actor Esmé Bianco. It adds that he previously dropped defamation and harassment claims against Wood.
