Shah Rukh Khan's KING gets first song 'Tu Mil Jaaye' with Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran
Shah Rukh Khan released the opening single from his upcoming action thriller on his birthday, pairing Arijit Singh's vocals with an English rap from Ed Sheeran.

'Tu Mil Jaaye', the first song from KING, is out now. Shah Rukh Khan released it on his birthday, and it brings together Arijit Singh, who sings the main vocal, and Ed Sheeran, who contributes an English-language rap segment. Madhubanti Bagchi also sings on the track.
The song is composed by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Kumaar. Choreography is by Piyush-Shazia. It is streaming on all major platforms, and the music video is on the Zee Music Company and T-Series YouTube channels.
A romantic number with action around it
The video opens with Khan speaking a line of dialogue that sets out the intensity of his character, then moves into an upbeat romantic dance sequence. It closes with a second spoken line from Khan. In between come action shots, quick transitions and dramatic exchanges that give a first look at the different registers of the film.
The song reunites Khan with Deepika Padukone, and the two share a series of romantic moments set against large-scale visuals. The video treats the track as an entry point into the film's wider world, not simply a standalone love song, which gives some indication of the tone KING is aiming for.
The collaboration
Setting Arijit Singh's Hindi vocal beside a rap verse in English is the song's most distinctive musical choice. Sheeran's part sits within a Sachin-Jigar composition built for a dance-driven film sequence. That makes 'Tu Mil Jaaye' a notable meeting of Hindi film music and global pop at the start of the film's promotional run.
